Ceva at the WBC in Madrid
The 31st World Buiatrics Congress was held in September 2022 in Madrid and Ceva was premium sponsor for the first time.
With over 3000 ruminant veterinarians from 74 countries attending the event, the WBC is the biggest scientific event for ruminant veterinarians.
With a very strong presence at the WBC, the ruminant team focused its communication on its new mission statement “WE SEE WHAT YOU SEE”, reinforcing to veterinarians around the world that it is Ceva willingness to answer their needs, what drives their actions.
As part of its solid scientific participation, the ruminant franchise staged its Symposium “Successful management of dairy heifers” on the Congress’s main auditorium, featuring renowned experts from the Royal Veterinary College and University of Florida; and participated with 26 scientific abstracts, including 13 oral presentations.
During the event, the team also presented the Q Awards, an initiative developed with the aim to acknowledge good practices in Q Fever management. Veterinarians gathered to congratulate Dr Adelaide Pereira from Portugal and Dr Maria Kronenberger from Germany, the two award winners.
Ceva’s outstanding presence at the WBC reinforces its strong position in the ruminant health market and its proximity to the customer needs.
